The service was professional and friendly. My car was done in a very timely manner so I didn't have to wait a long time for them to service my car. The waiting room was clean and offered free coffee and water but my wait time wasn't long.

Experience was great, told about the 45 min wait for oil change and I don't think I waited that long maybe 25 min. Very nice guys in the shop!

The Pit Stop was closed so I had to go to the regular service dept. I needed an oil change and I was there less than an hour!

First oil change and tire rotate, so no charge, and the service was fast and professional.

My first visit and couldn’t have been any more impressed with how great those young men were. I am a senior and they were so helpful when it came to explaining everything they had to do .

The sales person does not call you back. They do not answer the phone. They had my car over a week. They do not give you no updates. What’s going on?

Our sales rep Bert Marlott goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to helping us with everything and so does everyone working in the Financial department, especially Joe. Even through covid, which was stressful enough, one of our leases were up, we extended the lease, and finally Bert found a car for us. 5 Donuts for you Bert :) Everyone at the West Ridge location makes you feel important the minute you walk in. I dropped my car 8:30am, got there at 4 had to wait until after 5 pm. Parts had to be ordered but the gentleman Steve could tell me what had to be ordered as he “ didn’t have time to do paperwork yet!” Engine light still on. Have called and left message for 2 days now regarding what was supposed to be to be repaired and have not yet gotten a call back! Terrible service!

Great Customer Service!

Started my hunt for a new vehicle several months ago, met with Nick who was quick to provide all information I was looking for. The numbers didn’t make sense at the time for me to turn my current lease in early, so I rode out the last 3 months of my lease. During that time Nick casually followed up and was responsive to all my txt’s but not over bearing like the other dealerships who were sending almost bi-weekly automated txt’s. Once I was ready to move on a new vehicle, Nick made sure to get me in for an appointment always same day and went well above and beyond to get what seemed like an impossible deal at first done.

I dropped my vehicle off and had the shuttle driver take me home. At 1:30 i started calling the service center for an update on my vehicle but could not get thru. I chose every extension and only got voice mails. I did get one woman who said she was not in the same building but could transfer me, again VM. At 4pm i panicked, i had no car, no update, no way to get a hold of the shuttle driver. I called in a favor for a ride and arrived around 4:15. My service representative told me that it is nearly impossible to answer the phones. He said he is frustrated that he is constantly getting yelled at by customers but he is unable to answer or make calls with updates. I explained to him that i just needed a call, i am not a difficult customer, i was stranded with no answer and no way to make contact. He recommended i report this as an issue. He said just in the time it took him to check the status of my vehicle he had probably missed 6 calls. This was a terrible experience. It sounds like this is a normal day and according to your representatives they are unable to keep up with the volume of customers/cars being taken in.

had a nail or something similar in my right rear tire. I have a lease with an extended wear contract. The repair was made on that contract. So far 1 week after "plugging" the tire it is holding OK. (which is fine for local driving) Still waiting to see if the repair is going to last, I have concerns about driving interstate, so testing it now is critical.

Fast and easy

We were trying to get the camera fixed in our 2025 Trailblazer. We have been waiting until is was possible to get it in as we are dealing with some cancer issues and needed to be able to get around. We brought it in in the beginning of the year and we were told it needed a new camera and we would have to wait until one came in, as these seem to be an issue. We got a call about 3 weeks or so that one was in. We weren't able to juggle that time frame so we waited until we could. We brought it in this time to get an oil change and get the camera fixed, but instead got an oil change and a tire that needed repair fixed along with an inspection. Still no camera, now the one that came in was no longer there and we have to do another appointment. Communication on the fact that the camera wouldn't be there for us could have saved us 2 days without the car. Could have told us the camera wasn't available now and we could have wait a few weeks to do it all at once. Now we have to go through it again. Not that thrilled at this point.

Not helpful at all- actually called GM for help. Asked to speak with manager who ignored 3 messages to call me back. I was told I would receive a phone call to schedule my service and never did. Worst customer service ever. I actually left a message for the sales consultant who sold me the car and he responded once and when I texted him that I received no help I never heard from him again. He had texted me and reached out so many times during sales process then about his survey for review.

We worked with Evan. He was efficient and explained all the paperwork with understandable detail. We truly enjoyed working with him!

Great experience. I had scheduled a simple service for oil, filter, tire rotation. It was my first visit since purchasing the vehicle. With BJ approach for handling these types of services I was done in 15 minutes. Didn't even have to get out of my car. Entire staff was very friendly.

Not a good first service department visit. Long story but different information regarding my 2025 Equinox and a hitch. In the end I paid a portion of the "original" price for the hitch connection but even then I paid more than what I was told It would cost. (Not by much but still more). I didn't fight it at that point because I was disgusted with the service already. Do better or you will lose more customers.

I selected to wait for my truck. They said wouldn’t be over 1.5 hours. At the 3.5 hour mark I walked outside and noticed my truck was done and sitting there. No one alerted me to this. We have an extended warranty, the proper paperwork was never submitted and it took 6 voicemails, 6 days and begging a front desk person to connect me with a human and not a voicemail to talk to someone. The manager who spoke to me was not apologetic for our experience and asked me to give him time to get caught up. He was referring to the wrong vehicle and stated we might need to bring it back in since it had been almost a week where his employees didn’t do their job. We called Hartway Chevrolet in Medina to inquire about the extended warranty and explained. They said Bob Johnson should have done all of this on 8/7. The manager told us he didn’t have the warranty info which is a lie. We provided it to him and it was on the paperwork your dealership gave us on 8/7. The manager also said we never left our phone numbers. Both my husband and I left our own number in every voicemail and I even left his too. The service advisor told us that the truck needed 4 new tires. We questioned this because one was new in December. He insisted we needed 4 and that they were at 1/32. We then took the truck to Goodyear where they told us the one tire was 15/32 and we did not need to replace it. We finally received an update last Wednesday night that they submitted the paperwork to extended warranty. It’s now Tuesday and we have heard no update. To say we are frustrated is an understatement. We have bought 3 cars from you and we will never buy another after this experience. We choose to use the dealer for repairs because we are the kind of customer who believes in relationships and loyalty. I just wish Bob Johnson treated customers the same.

Only complaint I have was that they were not ready for me when I came to pick up the car. With three little kids there that was frustrating. However, Nick was great to the kids and Rob made sure someone else was able to help me out. Love the car so far!

I had an appointment to drop off my car at 9 am Saturday for diagnostics, told the service tech Jon Yaniro I needed it back no later than Monday night. He said they only really do diagnostics on weekends and that work wouldn’t be done until the weekdays. I said that’s fine, just need it diagnosed. Told him what I thought the issue was and he said he’d call me by the end of the day. Didn’t get a call Saturday, called multiple times monday, finally got a return call Tuesday at 11:30 confirming it was the issue i had thought.Quoted me $3400 for work that should only be around $2000 with parts and labor. Denied the work, told them we would be picking the car up. My mother arrived Wednesday morning to pick up the car because i was out of town and she was told by Jon that it wasn’t ready because he had no idea it was being picked up. She expressed that we were frustrated about the timeline and he told her he spoke to me at length about how it wouldn’t be ready until Monday or Tuesday (which is blatantly false), and said he was out Monday so that was why we didn’t hear back sooner. So no work gets done on cars he checked in on his days off? They had the car for 3.5 days before we heard anything, and I had practically handed them the diagnosis which should have taken them less than an hour to confirm. Absolutely ridiculous

no one answered the phone. long wait when multiple guys were working the front. part was down the street but had to wait 5 days to get repairs due to not have a skilled mechanic available during the weekends. No rentals were available and no assistance was providewd to get rental added to my entended warrant. Very dissapointed and frustrated, however I am glad it is fixed.

We purchased a new to us (2023 Chevrolet Equinox) and had a hiccup where we slipped through a Crack. Our vehicle was supposed to be cleaned and polished inside and out, rust protection electronic module, and ceramic coating on it. Come delivery day, our vehicle never had any of this done to it. We actually discovered all this when we got the vehicle home by discovering a walnut lodged into the engine compartment, and a red marking on the back tail gate of our Equinox. So my wife and I brought it to our sales woman's attention and service dept mgr attention and got it resolved, but still felt like we got the ball dropped on us considering we spend alot of money up at our local dealership and purchase all of our vehicles up there too.

The associate that guided me into the garage was very personable and he fixed the settings in my menu that had some how had gotten turned off. He also had another associate replace my registration sticker. I thought it was a great courtesy! My husband always did the oil changes on the car, and now that I have had to do them found driving into the garage a bit unsettling. I thank the associate for being so patient and personable.

Bad organization — it was tough to watch. Something as simple as rotating the tires turned into a fiasco, with five people working on it and no one keeping track of which tire came from where or where it needed to go. It doesn’t inspire much confidence that they know what they’re doing.

Service writer was great, a waited a little longer than anticipated but I think my issue needed more examination that simpler issues.

I have been without my Onstar service and radio since June 7th. On June 23rd, they replaced my Onstar module. That didn’t work after it was put in. I have been jerked around since then. On September 19th at 9 AM I came in to have it repaired. At 1 PM they called to tell me that the wrong part was ordered. They didn’t have anyone to shuttle me back, so I had to wait until my husband got home. We made it10 minutes before they closed. No one wanted to help us get our keys. I am very annoyed at the lack of service and professionalism from Bob Johnson. We have bought cars there for over 20 years. We will no longer do business with Bob Johnson.

I made an 11:45 appointment for an inspection on line, not realizing that the mechanics go to lunch at 12:00. The employee who signed me in spoke with a mechanic who agreed to delay his lunch so I would have my car back quickly. Thanks, Bob Johnson!

Was charged$1000 for new starter that when brought vehicle home, I had the same problem with vehicle as I did before the new starter. I had put in a new starter six months ago and told the tech that. I figured a dealer would be able to diagnose the problem the correct way. Should not have to pay for something I didn’t need and still have the problem I started with. Please help me resolve this

Salesman Dave DiCataldo was very helpful throughout the somewhat unusual situation of buying a vehicle that had never been available before.

Very friendly and courteous. I made an appointment for 10:30 and Dan told me it would be better to take the shuttle then to wait. He called when it was ready and had the shuttle pick me up. Both shuttle drivers were very friendly.

I come to the PitStop for my oil changes and rotations on both our cars. The service has always been good. This time they dropped a clip for the air filter housing and couldn't find it. They advised me what happened. they found it and for my delay gave me $10.00 off. That was nice to do, but even better was letting me know what happened.

This is our 6 leased car with Joey Grimshaw and both of our daughters have leased cars through Joey and everyone is extremely pleased with their purchase. We trust Joey and have felt this dealership was very fair with prices. We have recommended this dealership and Joey many times.

Salesperson didn't realize (?) there was a $1000 Bob Johnson discount on the vehicle and sales manager was offering $3300 less than book value on my trade in. Still haven't received the paperwork by email.

Backing out of my garage, I broke the passenger side rear view mirror. I took it to you on Aug 27th and spoke with a black man in your service department. He told me the whole thing needed to be replaced and ordered it and would call me when it came in. Heard nothing so on September 10th I called and was told it was in. Your phone system is terrible. It took me 40 minutes to finally be able to make an appointment on for September 10th. I dropped it off with the same black man and 30 minutes later he came out and said only the mirror had been ordered so the rest would have to be re-ordered and then go to the body shop for paint.. He was very unconcerned. I asked if only for now the mirror could be put on so I could drive. He would see. Forty minutes later and looked out and my car for in the completed section. I waited 20 minutes more and then went into the service area to see what was going on. The black man had gone home and left no info. None of the other reps had been told. A rep at the first station as you come in from the waiting room took over immediately , paid him and asked about the re-order. He said we could go out and see what had been done. The mirror was on, the cap which had been in my glove box was able to be reassemb;led, looked and worked fine. Thank God you had at least one service rep who cared..

Service was a 4 star. Please work on having loaners available when having to keep the vehicle more than a day.

There was a big lack of attention to detail. I stood and waited for an attendant to take my remote for my vehicle. Since I had made my appointment through my GM app I needed an oil change and the gentleman that finally paid attention to me. He told me I should go next-door and get my oil change there. It would only take 20 minutes and I explained to the gentleman that I work three jobs and I have to make an appointment to drop off my vehicle to get an oil change that I did not have 20 minutes to wait and he was very disgusted in that fact Also when I made my appointment through my GM app I also said that I wanted to use my GM points to pay for it so when I went to pick up my vehicle the next day, the girl had no information that I was doing that I did not know my four digits at the end of my membership number. We tried to get my app to work in the service center. My app would not come up so I had to pay with it with my debit card which I was not planning on doing. Also I noticed that I need another 800 miles before my filter gets changed. No one bothered to ask if I wanted my filter changed early so now I have to make another appointment to come back just to get my filter changed in 800 miles not convenient whatsoever. I was not happy with this location at all. The lack of detail was extremely overwhelming and stressful. I will not be back to this Bob Johnson service location.

Efficient oil change tire rotation process

I had an 8am appointment and was told it would take about 2 hours. Shuttle drove me to work. I received a call at 3:45pm and was told my car wasn't even started yet and that I may not get it back until the next day, but it was possible that it could be done by the end of the day. I told them I would need a ride home, and also that I needed to be back at work the following day by 9am. They told me they would call me back before the end of the day to confirm. They never called, I had to call them, I was stuck at work and needed to find a ride home, and I didn't get a call back the next day until 11:45am. I was very inconvenienced by Bob Johnson Chevrolet---they didn't even offer me a loaner car, and had no apology when I finally picked up my vehicle.

Well I went in for an inspection and new wipers, I ended up being there for about 2 hours, it was ridiculous. I scheduled my appointment probably a month prior and after the inspection was completed I was told that they needed to get my wipers from up the road, they should have been there already for my appointment. Plus they cost about $10 more than I saw online when I scheduled my appointment. I was not pleased with this appointment.

Excellent experience! Was cheerfully greeted when I arrived, and sales person (Emily) was assigned to help me. Emily had me test drive two vehicles that fit my criterion. Selected vehicle was available for purchase/lease and Emily interfaced with the financial department to complete the deal. I was able to pickup my new vehicle the following morning.

Best thing is I go to website and was able to get SERVICE APPOINTMENT the same day. When I ever try Bob Johnson Buick/GMC I have to wait nearly a MONTH to schedule an appointment. Tell them to put it in their pipe and smoke it. (I am hilarious)

I made a service appointment for 9:45 am. I discovered I actually wasn’t due for it. I did however need an inspection. I was very pleased that it was done in about an hours time and I paid half the price I would normally pay any where else and it was service I could trust. Prompt, and courteous service is my experience at Bob Johnson Chevrolet on West Ridge Rd!

I stopped at Bob Johnsons Pit Stop (quick lube) for an oil change. I waited about 10 minutes, before being called into a bay. The tech told me someone would be with me shortly. He checked and put air in both of the drives side tires, before going to the other side, I was asked to pull forward to another spot in the same bay. Was greeted by a service writer, asked what I needed, called out my tire pressure recommendations, and they went about their business. Oil change was quick. Later the same day, I scrolled thru my info center, and the passenger side tires were off. No one checked that side of my truck once I pulled forward. I filled them myself this morning at work.

I worked with Ben Hartwigh three years ago. I had a Kia which was a lease, I was over on my miles. With his help he got me into a lease with a Trailblazer. Three years later I call and was so glad he was still with Bob Johnson in Greece NY. Again I am leasing another Trailblazer. He is a great person to work with and goes out of his way to help. Your lucky to have a salesman like him. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase or lease.

When i arrived the tech told me that I didn't need a wheel rotation which i appreciated. But he should have told me I didn't need an oil change either. I had the oil changed with a little more than 8k miles. I really didn't need the oil changed with a little over 10k miles on it. Next time I'll have to do a better job of knowing when to bring it in on my own.

I had an oil leak in my 2024 blazer, I made an app't on Thursday in person for that next day. They called me Friday informing me they would need to keep it longer and would be giving me a vehicle until it was done. It was done in a timely manner and was very happy with the service I received.
