This was the worst experience leasing a vehicle ever. I will keep it blunt didn’t have color they advertised, I had to drive 20 miles wasn’t brushed off just to see color and rims. Then after signing paperwork and went to new truck and nothing worked so had to bring in to their shop. After 3 hours of being there I had to rent a car. I expected a call next day but didn’t happen. Called Saturday said have to get a different truck for me. 2 hours later call me back said truck all set, but they close early so couldn’t get till Monday now. At this time it has been a week long process. Come Monday they call me say lost my key and need my spare to cut and program. When asked how long they just said I’ll expedite it. Well another hour and half later I get to see the truck I purchased. Not washed mind you. So with over 5 hours total of wasted time sitting in your waiting room. I could keep going!

First oil change since I bought car.

Dan was wonderful! Dan was very respectful and made sure he understood what I was telling him was wrong with my truck. (Dan remembered me and what was wrong with my Chevy Silverado Z71 from Aug of last year.) That personal touch means a lot to me.

I came in for an oil change and rotated my tires and the gentleman working there was very friendly, letting me know everything that they were doing. A very pleasant experience.

I came in to ask about 40k service on my truck and was informed by my service writer of the suggested items. I agreed and scheduled an appointment. When I came back for my appointment I was helped by a different team member who was very polite and professional. I asked him to look at the front end alignment while it was in as I had to have a part replaced about a year ago and ever since then the steering wheel was a little off kilter. When I picked it up he had showed me the report and how far off it was. It was much better and I have been driving for a few days now and seems good. I’ll definitely let him know if it goes out again.My service writer even reviewed each line item for pricing and verified I was being charged the correct amount for materials as some seemed a little higher than he had expected them to be. Thank you for that extra effort! All in all this was the exactly what I expect from Bob Johnson and why it pays some times to pay for knowledge as well as labor.Some work just needs to be done by those who know the brand and work on it daily.

Svc tech provided good communication, but I was disappointed that most of the items I hoped could be improved upon were reported back to me as “within spec.” The heating system in particular has not met expectations. Also disappointing that no loaner car available or a reasonable shuttle. We’re in Penfield and my wife and I both had to travel 2 hours back and forth that day dropping off and picking up the car to get a manufacturing defect corrected (faulty window module).

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience this past weekend with service for my car. I had an issue back in December, that was “resolved” and now two months later I am dealing with the same exact issue. When I called to schedule and appointment, I had confirmed that I would be set up with a loner vehicle, as I did not have any other means of transportation. I show up to my appointment, to be told that the loner manager doesn’t arrive for another hour. I come back and hour later to be told there is no loner available for me and that I would have to sit and wait for my car to be finished. 3 HOURS LATER!!! They tell me that they had to order a part and that I would have to come back a week later… fast forward, next week… I drive to the dealership to finally have the issue resolved and I get a call 5 MINUTES before my appointment that they are not able to do this job today and that I would need to reschedule.. THANKS BOB JOHNSON SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Everything went pretty fast. Almost too fast. If I didn't know ahead of time what I wanted, it would have been "pushy". But as it was, I had a great time with my salesperson, TY. I must say it is a bit disappointing that there is no longer manuals with a vehicle. However, I guess I can see that OK. But I wish there seemed to be more of an online information source. Seems like a lot of new electronic technology, new icons, etc. without a source to question them. And not everyone is totally a phone person yet either. There are some of us older people that are your best customers ($$$) So forcing all purchase necessities to be totally tied to the phone is a bit harmful, especially for your salesperson. I am forced to do more after sale processing to make sure my salesperson gets his due $$ ! The vehicle I purchase has poor service ratings. I do hope GM as done something to improve that situation.

Horrible customer Service

Sam Cubiotti has helped us before, and he did it again! Very happy with the vehicle we walked away with and the deal we worked out.

For a simple first service, oil change and tire rotation with a drop off at opening it took much longer than would be expected. While making the appointment was a comment requesting it be done by 2pm and if not possible to let me know and I will book a different day. With no outreach at 3pm I was on hold for 27 minutes without anyone answering my call. Just "hold your call will be answered in the order it was received." At 20 Minutes in my boss called from his cell phone and got me through in 20 minutes and not answered in order. They were unable to get me to my service advisor and he had to call me back. 10 minutes later when he called back it sounded like the vehicle was just going in when I finally got a call back and told it would be about 20 more minutes. My experience with the service department each time has made me question my business with Bob Johnson and doesn't make me want to bring it back. It appears it is volume and false promises of good service.

Although the problem was fixed, there was an unacceptable mistake that could provoke a serious damage to my engine and maybe an accident if I didn't catch it on time. So I'm really disappointed cause I wasn't expecting such a poor performance from trained professionals

Was told at drop off (and is on our estimate) Friday to expect to pick up at 5pm that same day. No call or update on the website all day. Saturday morning I had to call a couple times before we received a call back hours later where I was told it wouldn’t be worked on until Monday. Not unreasonable to wait a few days for service, but the lack of communication was difficult when trying to plan alternative transportation arrangements. Otherwise great service.

I purchased a truck from Bob Johnson at 1271 ridge road West. Steve C. Is the sales manager there and Justin B. Was my salesman. There was no bologna, I was able to tell them what I wanted and drove away in it. No sitting around for hours while "I gotta ask my manager" every other question. I don't like to have my time wasted with games. There were no games here. It was a good and fair negotiation where I feel everyone made out great. This was a completely different experience from any other auto dealer I have sat down with. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Chris Codd did an excellent job selling me the vehicle. He was constantly in communication, was flexible in providing multiple scenarios and was knowledgeable about the vehicle. I was disappointed the braking went offline the day I picked it up, but that was a chevrolet issue and not a Bob Johnson issue. Service was very accommodating and got the vehicle in right away.

I thought the wait time to compete my inspection was longer than I expected but it is was busy. I was disappointed that you didn't have the rear windshield wiper I needed replaced in stock.

I had a 9:15 AM appointment for two things: an oil change and issues with my infotainment system. Instead of performing the oil change, which would have taken 20-30 minutes, and then investigating the issue with the infotainment system, the technicians first explored the infotainment system's problems, discovered that I needed a new radio, and then completed the oil change. I went to my service representative at 11:15 to find out what was going on, as I needed to get to work, and he informed me that a new radio was needed and that he had ordered it. He then stated that they had not yet performed the oil change and that it would take another 45-60 minutes before I could retrieve my car. While I had been able to work in the waiting area, I needed to get into the office as I had appointments I couldn't miss. I was told I could get a ride to work, but there were approximately 4-6 people in front of me, so I would have to wait an unknown amount of time before the shuttle could take me. Because of this, I had to take a Lyft at the cost of $30 to get to work. If you all had just done the oil change and then looked at the infotainment center, I could have had my car and been gone by the time I needed to leave but instead you all started with the area that would take more time to investigate than the service that would have been the easier to complete. This was an inefficient use of time and aggravating for me, as I needed to get to work but then had to pay for it myself.

It was a quick and courteous experience. It was faster than jiffy lube and I got a free car wash.

A more clear timeline of when the vehicle would be completed would be less concerning. My wife literally thought she was going to be there for over 2 hours waiting for an oil change and annual inspection. It ended up being just over an hour. I received notification to check the status after the job was completed. We are all good, it was just a little stressful in the moment.

Justin was very straight forward with me, which I like. It was a very easy purchase! We will definitely be going back to him for our next vehicle.

When I arrived with my vehicle, I was offered shuttle service to take me home instead of waiting for almost 2 hours. They also offered to pick me up to get my car, but I didn't need that service. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The only negative experience is the phone system. I have found it is difficult to get past the automated system to talk to an actual person.

When I walked in the door, I was greeted by a salesperson that took me to Justin Bartlett. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him what I needed. He showed me the choices in trucks that would work for me. I thought it was going to take me longer to purchase the truck, but things moved faster than anticipated. I called Justin telling him I was ready to make the purchase on the truck, and he made it work. Justin Bartlett is an outstanding salesperson, he's funny and makes you feel comfortable. I would come back again and again.

I made an appointment for 0930 at the service center for my first oil change and general service check . I was told i would not be able to have the vehicle looked at until 1030 /1100 . I was then told to go to the quick oil change across the street . When I inquired why when I had a appointment at the shop I would be told to go some place else I was told ,appointments for things like that do not count so just go across the street .

Pleasant experience dealing with Benny

I brought my car in at 8:00 on Monday morning, because the service person said the cleaning process would take 12 hours and I would pick up the car on Tuesday morning. It wasn't ready Tuesday morning, and I was finally told it would be ready at 2:00 that afternoon. I arrived at 2:00, expecting to go to the cashier and be on my way in a few minutes. However, I was told that the service rep. would cash me out. Unfortunately, the service rep. was on the phone with a customer discussing a problem for the next 10 minutes. That is a very inefficient system and not fair to the customers or the service representatives. If the car is ready to go, you should be able to settle up with the cashier and not wait for other people's service problems to be discussed.

I have had problems with my lease since I received it back in December 2024. I have been into Bob Johnson multiple times now for an electrical issue. There are times that the radio will not produce volume and the blinker, when engaged, will not produce its noise. My first visit in January I was told by Andy that my vehicle needed an update. For a brand new vehicle I found it perplexing that this would be the case. An upgrade was completed but did not resolve the issue. It continued to persist. I brought it back again and was told that they were going to replace the touch screen. This was completed and still had not resolved the issue as it persists. I spoke with Andy once again and he told me that I would need to bring the truck back in again when the problem was occurring so that the technicians can see it in real time. I was told I did not need an appointment. I recently brought the truck in when the problem was occurring. After waiting two hours I was told that the technician who had my truck was not able to resolve the issue because the correct technician was busy and could not check on my truck. I was told that I again would need to come back in when the problem was happening so that the “correct” technician could review it. Also to note, Andy, was present and did not assist me even though I had requested him since he was knowledgeable on what was happening. He clearly avoided me for whatever reason when he simply could have stepped in and assumed control of the situation to see that it would be handled appropriately. Over the past couple months I also was hearing a whistling noise when I accelerated. I was told there was a hole in my muffler and would need a replacement. This vehicle is 5 months old. And I have had nothing but issues with it all while still paying good money for a product that does not work properly.

It was my first free oil change and tire rotation and it went smoothly.

Service engine light came on due to a program update which malfunctioned

Left my car for a whole day and it didn't get fixed. Took it back and after waiting and arguing got another appointment which the Service Manager canceled the day of, said the parts weren't in. That was over 2 weeks ago. Being a suspension problem I'm getting concerned for my safety driving this vehicle and the service manager doesn't return my calls!

I leased this Trax.in March 2025 Driver's window wiper rubber broke off. Mechanic stated for 2025 it was redesigned. He stated they were having problems with the wipers breaking did not know if there was a recall on them. It cost me 52.00 to replace the wiper. If the wipers are defective i should not have to pay to get the defective wiper placed. I had the car for 5 weeks.

Was never notified about the status of my vehicle until the next day when I CALLED about it. I was then told it was being worked on. Called me in the afternoon that car was ready. Not a good way to treat customer, it’s not rocket science just to make a phone call to let customer know what is going on. Very disappointed in the service department.

Great. Lanthy 2 and half hours. All questions answered. Smooth delivery. The only problem I have is getting a print out of the contract. Tried everything I could think of. No luck.

I scheduled an appointment for oil change and 15k service maintenance. When I showed up to the service center I was told to drive to a different building that only does oil changes. I was confused because I had an appointment. I drove over to the other building and was told they do not do appointments and it’s first come first serve so I was a little confused and disappointed by the process. I also believe no one did the 15k maintenance as I requested because all I paid for was an oil change. I live over an hour away so I felt like I wasted my time and gas.
