The service was professional and friendly. My car was done in a very timely manner so I didn't have to wait a long time for them to service my car. The waiting room was clean and offered free coffee and water but my wait time wasn't long.

Experience was great, told about the 45 min wait for oil change and I don't think I waited that long maybe 25 min. Very nice guys in the shop!

The Pit Stop was closed so I had to go to the regular service dept. I needed an oil change and I was there less than an hour!

Efficient oil change tire rotation process

I had an 8am appointment and was told it would take about 2 hours. Shuttle drove me to work. I received a call at 3:45pm and was told my car wasn't even started yet and that I may not get it back until the next day, but it was possible that it could be done by the end of the day. I told them I would need a ride home, and also that I needed to be back at work the following day by 9am. They told me they would call me back before the end of the day to confirm. They never called, I had to call them, I was stuck at work and needed to find a ride home, and I didn't get a call back the next day until 11:45am. I was very inconvenienced by Bob Johnson Chevrolet---they didn't even offer me a loaner car, and had no apology when I finally picked up my vehicle.

Backing out of my garage, I broke the passenger side rear view mirror. I took it to you on Aug 27th and spoke with a black man in your service department. He told me the whole thing needed to be replaced and ordered it and would call me when it came in. Heard nothing so on September 10th I called and was told it was in. Your phone system is terrible. It took me 40 minutes to finally be able to make an appointment on for September 10th. I dropped it off with the same black man and 30 minutes later he came out and said only the mirror had been ordered so the rest would have to be re-ordered and then go to the body shop for paint.. He was very unconcerned. I asked if only for now the mirror could be put on so I could drive. He would see. Forty minutes later and looked out and my car for in the completed section. I waited 20 minutes more and then went into the service area to see what was going on. The black man had gone home and left no info. None of the other reps had been told. A rep at the first station as you come in from the waiting room took over immediately , paid him and asked about the re-order. He said we could go out and see what had been done. The mirror was on, the cap which had been in my glove box was able to be reassemb;led, looked and worked fine. Thank God you had at least one service rep who cared..

Well I went in for an inspection and new wipers, I ended up being there for about 2 hours, it was ridiculous. I scheduled my appointment probably a month prior and after the inspection was completed I was told that they needed to get my wipers from up the road, they should have been there already for my appointment. Plus they cost about $10 more than I saw online when I scheduled my appointment. I was not pleased with this appointment.

I come to the PitStop for my oil changes and rotations on both our cars. The service has always been good. This time they dropped a clip for the air filter housing and couldn't find it. They advised me what happened. they found it and for my delay gave me $10.00 off. That was nice to do, but even better was letting me know what happened.

This is our 6 leased car with Joey Grimshaw and both of our daughters have leased cars through Joey and everyone is extremely pleased with their purchase. We trust Joey and have felt this dealership was very fair with prices. We have recommended this dealership and Joey many times.

There was a big lack of attention to detail. I stood and waited for an attendant to take my remote for my vehicle. Since I had made my appointment through my GM app I needed an oil change and the gentleman that finally paid attention to me. He told me I should go next-door and get my oil change there. It would only take 20 minutes and I explained to the gentleman that I work three jobs and I have to make an appointment to drop off my vehicle to get an oil change that I did not have 20 minutes to wait and he was very disgusted in that fact Also when I made my appointment through my GM app I also said that I wanted to use my GM points to pay for it so when I went to pick up my vehicle the next day, the girl had no information that I was doing that I did not know my four digits at the end of my membership number. We tried to get my app to work in the service center. My app would not come up so I had to pay with it with my debit card which I was not planning on doing. Also I noticed that I need another 800 miles before my filter gets changed. No one bothered to ask if I wanted my filter changed early so now I have to make another appointment to come back just to get my filter changed in 800 miles not convenient whatsoever. I was not happy with this location at all. The lack of detail was extremely overwhelming and stressful. I will not be back to this Bob Johnson service location.

Best thing is I go to website and was able to get SERVICE APPOINTMENT the same day. When I ever try Bob Johnson Buick/GMC I have to wait nearly a MONTH to schedule an appointment. Tell them to put it in their pipe and smoke it. (I am hilarious)

Excellent experience! Was cheerfully greeted when I arrived, and sales person (Emily) was assigned to help me. Emily had me test drive two vehicles that fit my criterion. Selected vehicle was available for purchase/lease and Emily interfaced with the financial department to complete the deal. I was able to pickup my new vehicle the following morning.

2024 Chevrolet Trax was serviced on Thursday,10/15/25. Service department installed new Windshield. They provided excellent service repair was done and car was ready same day. Great service and customer service. At completion of repair they come out and explain what they did and provided 7 point check on SUV. Will return when routine work has to be done. You should be proud of Service department.

I stopped at Bob Johnsons Pit Stop (quick lube) for an oil change. I waited about 10 minutes, before being called into a bay. The tech told me someone would be with me shortly. He checked and put air in both of the drives side tires, before going to the other side, I was asked to pull forward to another spot in the same bay. Was greeted by a service writer, asked what I needed, called out my tire pressure recommendations, and they went about their business. Oil change was quick. Later the same day, I scrolled thru my info center, and the passenger side tires were off. No one checked that side of my truck once I pulled forward. I filled them myself this morning at work.

I worked with Ben Hartwigh three years ago. I had a Kia which was a lease, I was over on my miles. With his help he got me into a lease with a Trailblazer. Three years later I call and was so glad he was still with Bob Johnson in Greece NY. Again I am leasing another Trailblazer. He is a great person to work with and goes out of his way to help. Your lucky to have a salesman like him. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase or lease.

Although I have gotten many messages from Onstar and Jeana Cullota from Bob Johnson Chevrolet falsely staring there was a tire pressure issue, you were not able to get the message to appear. You recalibrated the info center console. Hopefully that will solve the issue.

There was conflicting information on the website regarding pricing for the 2025 Equinox EV lease. I called and was able to get that clarified. We came in and had a seamless process with our sales agent. The dealership met us at the amount we wanted for our trade in. When i arrived the tech told me that I didn't need a wheel rotation which i appreciated. But he should have told me I didn't need an oil change either. I had the oil changed with a little more than 8k miles. I really didn't need the oil changed with a little over 10k miles on it. Next time I'll have to do a better job of knowing when to bring it in on my own.

I had an oil leak in my 2024 blazer, I made an app't on Thursday in person for that next day. They called me Friday informing me they would need to keep it longer and would be giving me a vehicle until it was done. It was done in a timely manner and was very happy with the service I received.

I originally came in on 10/18 and was told a part had to be ordered and it would take 5-6 days. After waiting 14 days I called to check and found out the part had been there for several days. Was told they don't call at the end of the month. Well if they had called when it came in it would not have been the end of the month. Was told I had to leave it for the repair. I made an appt to wait it took less than an hour to fix. Why did they want to leave me without a car for a day?

I was very disappointed that Bob Johnson Auto Group sees themselves as such a SMALL business that they have to take advantage of NYS and Fed law that allows businesses to pass on the Credit Card fees to their customers. The intent of that legislation was to remove undue hardship on small businesses. I would argue that the Bob Johnson Auto Group, having the #1 Chevrolet dealership in the country, is FAR from being a small business. What that says to me is I have to pay to bring my business to you. I don't do business with companies that take advantage of that legislation. As a small business owner, I absorb those fees for my customers as a cost of doing business. I don't use it as a revenue stream that is taxed.

I was very pleased that it was done in about an hours time and I paid half the price I would normally pay any where else and it was service I could trust. Had a 730 wait appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Took 2.5 hours. Was later told even though appointment is 730 but techs don’t start until 8. Either start you techs at 730 or schedule at 8.

The service at Bob Johnson is always excellent. Whenever I have a problem, I can always count on Dan Helmbold to help me. He answers any questions I have and helps me with whatever needs to be done with my car. Also, it is always nice to see Bruse who will take me home and pick me up when my car is ready. I am a long-time customer of Bob Johnson and when it comes to buying a new vehicle it will be Bob Johnson I will go to

See my previous post. I called 4 times between 4:05 and 4:30 to get scheduled on the shuttle to return to the dealership and it didn’t happen. Had to hitch a ride with a neighbor who was just getting home from work at 5:25 pm. Not the kind of service I was looking for from Bob Johnson. And, when I got there, I read that checks are no longer accepted, only credit , bank, or debit cards. No mention of the 3% service charge fee if you use said cards. Besides all that I had to pay $328 + for an inspection and 1 tire. A little exorbitant for all the frustration and effort to get there don’t you think?

After my oil change and tire air pressure topped off I got home and my tire pressure was 6 lbs in left front tire from 35 set by technician. I don’t understand how I reached such a low air pressure. I refilled and everything is ok so far.😩bad experience 😩

It was excellent as usual at the pitstop, In-N-Out and about 15 minutes

I had an 11AM appointment on Monday. At that time the service advisor, who was very professional and cordial told me a technician had called in sick and it would be late in the day before my car would be worked on. Mid afternoon on Tuesday I called asking the status of my car. It was just before closing that I got a reply telling me a technician was working on it. Mid morning Wednesday I was called asking for consent to do the repairs and was told it would be just a short time. The shuttle picked me up a half hour before the service department closed. I was without my car for three days, missed an appointment on Tuesday waiting for someone from Bob Johnson's to call and give me the status of my car, all because someone called in sick on Monday.

Treatment was good. I just did not like how much I had to pay to fix my vehicle. Not sure if I will come back. The oil changes cost are fine but the auto repair cost is just too much.

I had the salesman T.Y. assisting me with a new lease and he was absolutely amazing. He was very personable, thorough with the details, clear and straight forward, and last but not least, he was able to get me into a brand new lease and had me leaving with a new car same day. I will definitely be going to T.Y. from now on for any future services or questions.

I made an appointment two weeks out for a quick inspection and tire rotation. My service advisor, Chris N, lied and dragged me along all day about when my car would be ready. This was a Saturday morning. The whole service team went home at 2 PM knowing that they are closed for the rest of the weekend and they never bothered to call me and tell me my car that I dropped off at 10 AM would now be stuck there all weekend with zero communication. I had to go to the dealership and have the sales team to find someone to get me in my car. Chris N calls me a few days later to apologize and offers to have my car picked up from my house, have the service complete, and then dropped off. I agreed to this and he tells me someone should be at my house around 9 AM. I take time away from work to wait for the pick up and nobody shows up. I called Chris three times and he never answered. Truly some of the most disgusting customer service I’ve ever received. And based on their prior reviews, there doesn’t seem to be any repercussion for this nasty behavior because there’s obviously nothing preventing them from doing this over and over again to other people.

He also took the time and answer and explained other questions I had about my SUV. He was very knowledgeable about my 2026 SUV. The waiting room was one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Other local GM dealers should be kept to those high standards on how to treat their customers and keep their dealerships clean. I will be going back to Bob Johnson Chevrolet for all my appointments from now on.

I am "old school" and was not familiar with the drop off/ get in line process. I would have preferred a "heads-up" to the process, as I was at service at 7:15am and it looked like the first person there......... Once I figured out the process, I was third in line.... I ended up being later for work than expected. Once I was checked in, the process was seamless. Andy was pleasant and informative.

Came here today to have a TPM sensor replaced. It should not take more than an hour. I had an appointment. Still sitting here almost 5 hours later. Found out they did not have the part. Once I complained at 2:45 pm I was told It would take until 4:30 pm for them to get it. Then suddenly at 3:30 pm car was done as if by magic. I believe just to get me out of their hair. They installed a USED PART from another vehicle. They even took the time to unplug my dashcam before anything so I suspect this is the case. It could also be the part which was supposed to arrive after 4:30 pm magically appeared. So I got a used part installed in my car and was sold to me as new. Service staff no help at all. What the hell kind of "service" is this. Called Steve Kerr and left a voicemail the same day. 5 days later nothing.

Wanted an oil change and drive to the Pitstop no appt necessary building as advertised on Bob Johnson’s website. Arrived and greeting by hand made sign that I needed to go across to main service for quick lane oil change. Drove over and got checked and was told hour and half to 2 hour wait. I didn’t mind waiting inside with free coffee. Car was completed within 2 hours and the service rep said am I paying by debit or credit. I said credit and he said it would be 3% more! I would rather build in a few bucks to the service to be surprised with this surcharge

Worst service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give it a zero I would. Calls were not returned, promised updates never happened, and they didn’t even perform the actual service my car was brought in for—just repeated a diagnostic they had already done a month earlier. I had to contact my sales agent just to get someone to call me back. Pickup was just as disorganized. Despite clearly stating I had a client meeting at 2:00, I was called at 1:45 about a shuttle, then told by the manager that no one would be picking me up at all. There was zero accountability or attempt to make things right. I would not recommend this service department to anyone who values communication or respect for their time.
